> DAY 1: Cairo

Arrival in Egypt, the Land of the Pharaohs. At Cairo International Airport you will be welcomed by your representative, then escorted to your hotel.

> DAY 2: Cairo - City Tour

Start your day with a guided tour of the Cairo Museum where you will find artifacts of the Pharaonic era and the treasures of King Tutankhamen’s tomb. Drive to Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue and Saint Sergius Church. After lunch, drive to the Citadel of Saladin and visit the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Enjoy a walking tour of the largest 13th century oriental market, Khan El Khalili Bazaar. (B, L)

> DAY 3: Cairo – Pyramids Tour

After breakfast, a scenic drive will take you to the Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza, which have stood for the last 5000 years. Complete your visit at Giza with a tour of the Solar Boat Museum. After lunch, continue to the ancient city of Memphis, the first capital of United Upper and Lower Egypt, and then visit Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser. (B, L)

> DAY 4: Cairo, Luxor

After breakfast, transfer to the Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival transfer to your luxury cruise ship for your 5-day, 4-night Nile cruise. Visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor; visit the West Bank including Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight in Luxor. (B, L, D)  

> DAY 5: Luxor, Edfu

Early morning sailing to Edfu via Esna. Overnight in Edfu. (B, L, D)  

> DAY 6: Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan

Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the falcon-god, considered the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek and Horus. Then sail to Aswan and overnight. (B, L, D)  

> DAY 7: Aswan

Visit the Aswan High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. Sail on board a felucca, a typical Egyptian sailboat and view Kitchener’s Island botanical garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight in Aswan. (B, L, D)  

> DAY 8: Aswan, Cairo – Abu Simbel Tour

After breakfast, disembark and transfer to the airport for your tour to Abu Simbel.  Visit the colossal Temple of Ramses II and the temple of his beloved Queen Nefertari. Both temples were carved out of a hillside beside the Nile in the 13th century BC. Transfer back to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival you will be escorted to your hotel. (B)    

> DAY 9: Amman

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Amman where you will be welcomed by your representative, then escorted to your hotel. (B)

> DAY 10: Amman, Madaba, Petra

After breakfast enjoy a drive on King’s Highway, a once famous ancient trade route leading to the rose-red city of Petra. En route you’ll see the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land at Madaba and stop at Kerak, an old crusader castle. Continue to Petra and overnight. (B)

> DAY 11: Petra, Amman

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then start your day visit of Petra. This rose-red city carved out of the side of the mountain will leave you enchanted with its unique architecture and beautiful colors. Wander through time as you visit the monastery, siq and treasury. Drive through the desert road and overnight in Amman. (B)

> DAY 12: Amman, Dead Sea, Amman

After breakfast head over to the lowest and saltiest place on earth, where everything is unsinkable! Relax at the Dead Sea beach and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Return to Amman for a scenic drive and overnight. (B)

> Day 13: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Amman Queen Alia airport for your departure flight. (B)
