> DAY 1: Cairo

Arrival in Egypt, the Land of the Pharaohs. At Cairo International Airport you will be welcomed by your representative, then escorted to your hotel.

> DAY 2: Cairo

Morning visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which includes the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic artifacts and the treasures of Tutankhamen’s tomb. Then drive to Old Cairo to visit Al Moallaka Church (Hanging Church) and Ben Ezra Synagogue. After lunch, visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx, then proceed to Khan El Khalili, the world’s largest 13th century oriental bazaar. (B, L)

> DAY 3: Cairo, Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu

Morning flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your cruise ship where you will spend the next 4 days, 3 nights. You will visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. View Kitchener’s Island botanical garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum by felucca. After lunch sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek and Horus. Then sail to Edfu and overnight. (B, L, D)  

> DAY 4: Edfu, Luxor

Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the falcon-god, (237 B.C.) considered the best-preserved temple in Ancient Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Sail to Esna, passing through Esna Lock, and continue sailing towards Luxor and overnight. (B, L, D)

> DAY 5: Luxor

Visit the West Bank necropolis including the Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight in Luxor. (B, L, D)

> DAY 6: Luxor, Cairo

After breakfast, visit Karnak and Luxor Temples, a centuries-old city of pylons, hypostyle halls, colossal statues, shrines and obelisks. Disembarkation and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo you will be met and escorted to your hotel. In the evening enjoy the Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids. > DAY 7: Cairo, Rome

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Rome. Upon arrival in Rome your private transfer will take you to your hotel. (B)

> DAY 8: Rome

Your tour explores the area of Rome from where the power and the glory of the Great Roman Empire developed and extended. Your guide will take you through the enchanting ruins of the Imperial-era, beginning with the Piazza Venezia and its impressive monument dedicated to King Victor Emanuel II and the Unknown Soldier.  You will then continue on foot to the famous Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo, from where you will have a breathtaking view of the Roman Forum. With the remains of the Forum as a backdrop, you will have a chance to learn from your guide the history and anedoctes on the social and political life of Rome, from its origin to the glorious days of the Great Roman Empire.  Proceed with a visit to the imposing Coliseum, iconic symbol of Imperial Rome, and probably the most impressive building of the Imperial-era. > DAY 9: Rome

Spend the day at leisure soaking up the local culture and atmosphere of Rome. (B)

> DAY 10: Rome, Venice

After breakfast, transfer to the Rome airport for your flight to Venice. Upon arrival in Venice your private transfer will take you to your hotel. (B)

> DAY 11: Venice

Spend the morning visiting the sights of the city centre of Venice.  Through your private guide, you will have a chance to learn about the history of this historic town while touring some of the city's most celebrated monuments.  The tour will begin with San Marco square, central landmark and gathering place for Venice.  The buildings around the Piazza are the Doge's Palace, St Mark's Basilica, St Mark's Clocktower, Procuratie Vecchie, the Napoleonic Wing of the Procuraties, the Procuratie Nuove, St Mark's Campanile and Loggetta and the Biblioteca Marciana.  St Mark's Basilica, known also as the Golden Basilica due to its opulent design and gilded mosaics, is one of the best known examples of Byzantine architecture.  The tour will take you inside the Palazzo Ducale di Venezia (Doge's Palace), the old residence of the Doge of Venice. The current palace was constructed from 1309 to 1424, and replaced some earlier fortified buildings.  Throughout the years, the building has hosted political institutions from the Republic of Venice to the Napoleonic occupation of the city. Today it is preserved as a museum, housing many masterpieces by different artists, including wonderful paintings by Tintoretto and Veronese. (B)

> DAY 11: Venice

Spend the day at leisure experiencing the local culture and atmosphere of Venice. (B)

> DAY 13: Departure

Transfer to the Venice airport for your international flight. (B)
