Itinerary and Overviews:
Arrival in Cairo Friday or Wednesday depending on your
choice of Cruise Ship

DAY 1: (Cairo)
Arrival in the Land of the Pharaohs. At Cairo International
airport you will be welcomed by our representative, and ,
then escorted to your hotel.

DAY 2: (Cairo)
Morning visit to the Egyptian
Museum of Antiquities which includes the world’s largest
collection of Pharaonic artifacts and the treasures of
Tutankhamen’s tomb, also visit the Mummies room. Stop for
lunch at the Fish Market restaurant then drive to the
Citadel of Saladin and visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque.
In the evening, you will enjoy the Sound & Light show at the
Pyramids area. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3: (Cairo)
Drive to Old Cairo, where early
Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit the Ben
Ezra Synagogue and Saint Sergius Church. Stop for lunch at Naguib
Mahfouz cafe and enjoy a walking tour of the largest
13th century covered oriental market, Khan El Khalili
Bazaar. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 4: (Cairo, Luxor)
After breakfast, transfer to
Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival
transfer to your luxury cruise ship for a 5 days 4 nights
cruise. Accommodation aboard your cruise ship will consist
of outside Beethoven suite cabin with private facilities.
Visit the Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor. Afternoon
tea. Evening transfer to the Karnak for a Sound & Light Show
Performance and dinner followed by belly dancer show.
Overnight in Luxor.

DAY 5: (Luxor, Esna)
After breakfast, visit the West
Bank including Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens,
the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.
After lunch, sail to Esna. Afternoon tea, Captain's welcome
cocktail, dinner overnight in Esna.

DAY 6: (Edfu, Kom Ombo)
Free wake up, sail to Edfu
during breakfast. Upon arrival to Edfu, travel by
horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, considered the
best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt and the second
largest after the Temple of Karnak. Lunch during sailing to
Kom Ombo. Afternoon tea and dinner followed by a Gallabya
Party. Overnight in Kom Ombo.

DAY 7: (Kom Ombo, Aswan)
After breakfast, visit the
temple of Sobek & Haroeries in Kom Ombo, then sail to Aswan.
Lunch on board. Visit the Aswan High Dam, the Granite
Quarries & Philae Temple. Afternoon tea and dinner followed
by a Nubian Folkloric Show. Overnight in Aswan.

DAY 8: (Aswan, Abu Simbel Cairo)
Disembarkation and transfer to
Aswan airport for your flight to Abu Simbel. Visit the Great
Temple of Ramses II and of his beloved Queen Nefertari.
After visiting this magnificent site, you will be
transferred back to Abu Simbel airport for your flight to
Cairo via Aswan. Relax at your hotel in Cairo and enjoy the
facilities of your hotel.

DAY 9: (Cairo, Alexandria, Cairo)
Early breakfast then start your
over day to Alexandria by private air-conditioned vehicle,
accompanied by an English speaking Egyptologist. Visit the
Catacombs of Kom El Shukafa, Quait Bay Fort. Stop for lunch
at Fish Market then proceed to the National Museum and
Alexandria Library. Transfer back to Cairo. Overnight at
hotel.

DAY 10: (Cairo - Pyramid Tour)
After breakfast, a scenic drive
will take you to the Pyramids & Sphinx of Giza, which have
stood for the last 5000 years, your visit will include
entrance to the inside of the Great Pyramids. Complete your visit at Giza with a tour of the Solar
Boat Museum. Lunch at the Mena House hotel then continue to
the ancient city of Memphis, the first capital of United
Upper and Lower Egypt then visit Sakkara, site of the Step
Pyramid of Zoser. Evening, dinner with entertainment on
board a Nile cruising restaurant.

DAY 11: (Departure)
After breakfast, transfer to
Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.

Egypt is most
easily reached by international air to Cairo. A valid
passport is required for US and Canadian citizens to travel to Egypt.
Travelers can obtain a renewable 30-day tourist visa at any port of
entry, except at Taba and Rafah, for approximately
$16 fee, payable in U.S. dollars. Visitors arriving overland must obtain
a visa prior to arrival. For additional entry requirements, U.S.
