I had meant to contact you upon our return from Egypt, but time got away from me. The trip was fabulous. Despite my initial concern over the lack of any documentation prior to departure, everything went exactly as you promised. The local guides, drivers & representatives in each location were outstanding. Sakkara is a top notch operator.

For twenty years I have done self-booked, self-organized trips & got used to that. I took one group tour & learned that I don't care for crowded buses. You have made me a believer in "Private Tours". It was a pleasure to have the transportation arrangements done for us, and get such great quality of guides, while having the flexibility to stay at each location for as much time as we chose. I plan on contacting you again when we are ready to book our trip to Italy next year.

I would like to express my delight in the service we received in Egypt, especially Mohamed and Achmed our Egyptologist. I’m sure our holiday wasn’t cheap but I am so glad we did what we did.  The boys looked after us really well. (Exceeded expectations) Even Sam the driver was a delight to talk with and always extremely courteous.  Achmed was full of information and didn’t mind changing things around when asked to.  We will be going to Greece and Italy for our next holiday.  It was supposed to be late 2011 but I think it will be around May 2012 now.  We will be contacting you to arrange our holiday once again.

We had a fabulous time in Egypt! Our trip was very well organized and the Sakkara tour representatives/guides especially in Cairo were extremely friendly and helpful. I wish we had some more time to visit Abu Simbel....maybe next time!

Bill and I would like to thank you for all your help making our trip to Egypt better than we anticipated.

The sequence of the trip was great!  All of the people were very professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable.  Our hotel, the Grand Hyatt, was beautiful, our room was very nice with a great view off the balcony of the Nile.

I want you to know that Andrew our tour escort was exceptional.  Although he knew nothing about golf, he arranged for us to golf at the Mena Golf Club which was located at the base of the Great Pyramid.  It was something we will never forget.  Ahmed our Egyptologist was very knowledgeable and friendly.  Robert, our tour guide during our cruise was very competent, friendly, and well organized.  He was great!

Abul our guide at Abu Simple was also very good and very proud of Egypt's history.  All the staff on the cruise could not have been nicer and more accommodating.  We met very nice people on our cruise and will continue to keep in contact with them.   Our drivers especially Asom were fantastic!

The Staff were always on time and waiting for us at every destination and seemed to go out of their way to make our trip a memory to cherish.

Hi Dina,

Thank you, just got back yesterday actually and straight back to work ( after Egypt we went to Mauritius and then Hong Kong, it was a very long holiday!!

Egypt was absolutely amazing!!! Had such a great time. All the transfers were flawless, everyone at the Sakkara group were very friendly, and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Thank you so much for all your assistance through out the planning of our trip.

I thought the Nile cruise and all the temples visited from Luxor to Aswan were the highlight of our trip, although I wish the cruise was a much longer!! The view from our floating room was beautiful a perfect seat to watch the sunset.

Abu Simbel was definitely worth seeing, I was amazed how they saved the temple by cutting it in pieces, and how massive it was. And the Pyramids did not disappoint at all!! The main attraction in Egypt was absolutely breathtaking.

It was definitely a memorable experience, I will recommend Egypt to anyone looking to travel, and to definitely book through Travelive.

Hi Mina,

Wow, Egypt….it was a great trip and your connections and transfers and the local guides were all good.  Thank you so much…what you probably didn’t know is that on the 4th of June, our last day in Cairo, we were out for a walk and saw President Obama’s motorcade and his helicopter heading towards Giza.

Thanks again for all the arrangements.  Looks like we may have some friends heading out that way in January/February that we’ll send over to you.  If we ever go to Greece we will know who to contact!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for our amazing trip to Egypt!!  We got to see all the incredible sites in Cairo, like the Pyramids and the Sphinx.  The Khan El Khalili bazaar was amazing!  We had the best time!  Our Nile cruise was absolutely perfect.  We went to Luxor, Aswan, Kom Ombo, and got to see so many more things than we would have if we had tried to plan the trip ourselves.  Everything was so charming and the whole trip was totally effortless on our part, we didn’t have to think about anything, just take in the sites and enjoy ourselves.  It was everything a vacation should be!
